World Bank and the Indian government started a joint project to build 90 solar power plants for industries in India. The project budget is $ 23 million and the goal is to make Indian industry to use the sun to power their processes instead of oil and coal.
Absolicon has recently signed a joint venture agreement with the Indian partner Bergen Group, for finance the construction of a manufacturing unit of Absolicon solar collectors in New Delhi.
– India’s investment in concentrated solar fits like a glove with the investment we make with Bergen Group. We expect to be able to win a large number of the installations, says Joakim Bystrom.
